Privacy policy - Trust Me
Last updated: 26 September 2026 ยท applies to the Android game Trust Me
(package de.elsiri.trustme), published by Omar Elsiri (see Impressum).
1. In short
- Your game progress is saved only on your phone. There is no account and no cloud save.
- The game shows ads supplied by Google AdMob. To serve them, Google's ads SDK inside the app collects device data (see section 3). That is the only third party involved and the only reason the game uses the internet.
- We, the developer, receive no personal data about you.
2. What the game stores on your device
| Data | Why | Kept |
|---|---|---|
| Progress | Which levels you finished, deaths and times per level, so levels unlock in order. | On your phone until you uninstall the game. |
| Bug reports (test versions) | If you press BUG: the level, the categories you tick, your note, the position you marked, the phone model, the game version and the time. No screenshot is ever saved. | Same as above. |
None of this identifies you and none of it is uploaded. Uninstalling the game deletes it.
3. Advertising (Google AdMob)
The game shows ads supplied by Google AdMob. To choose and deliver them, the Google Mobile Ads SDK, which runs inside the app but is operated by Google, not by us, collects and transmits data from your device. That includes:
- your advertising ID and app set ID (resettable identifiers Android provides for this purpose);
- device and app information, such as device model, operating system version, language and app version;
- your IP address, from which an approximate location can be derived;
- ad interaction data: that an ad was requested, shown, clicked or dismissed;
- diagnostic and performance data about the ads SDK, such as crash logs.
Google uses this data to serve ads, measure them, prevent fraud and, if you allow it, personalise ads. The data is encrypted in transit. We never see it: no advertising ID, IP address or other identifier reaches us, only the aggregated earnings and impression figures AdMob shows every publisher.
Google's use of this data is governed by the Google Privacy Policy and How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services. Where the law requires it (for example in the EU/EEA and UK), the game asks for your consent before personalised ads are shown, and you can change your choice later.
How to limit it. On Android, open Settings → Privacy → Ads (the exact path varies by manufacturer) to reset or delete your advertising ID. The game works the same without it.
4. Sharing a bug report
Bug reports never leave your phone on their own. Only if you press Save + Share or Share all saved, the report text is copied to your clipboard and your email app opens. You decide whether to send it and to whom. If you send it to the developer, it is used only to find and fix the problem and is deleted once it is no longer needed.
5. Permissions
| INTERNET, ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE | Loading ads. Nothing else in the game uses the network. |
|---|---|
| AD_ID | Access to the advertising ID, required by the ads SDK. |
| VIBRATE | A short vibration when you die. |
6. Children
The game is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
7. Your rights
Under the GDPR you may ask for access to, correction or deletion of personal data. We hold none about you; for data processed by Google, use Google's tools linked above or contact Google directly.
8. Changes and contact
If this policy changes, the date at the top changes too. Questions or deletion requests: omar@elsiri.de.
